Network+ 12/15/2008 (Day)

Chapter 10 was on the docket for discussion today, which covered troubleshooting best practices and methods.  The one big important thing to take away from this chapter is the 8-step troubleshooting process.  The CompTIA Network+ exam expects you to have full knowledge of this process, so make sure you don’t sluff it off.

But before we began our discussion, we opened class with an hour’s worth (yes, it took a whole hour, can you believe it?) of presentations.  All in all, most of you did a fantastic job, despite your expectations otherwise.  Some of you reading this may be among the handful of people who did not show up today for presentations.  Please know that I will expect you to do the presentation next week.  This presentation is a HUGE part of your grade and simply sluffing it off will wreak havoc on it.

I also let you know whether or not I’ll need to see you next week for the final.  If you’re not sure, show up next week.
