My hungry self was in overdrive for the afternoon class today, and we ran through Chapter 8, which was all about Group Administration. Remember the different types of groups and the scopes of groups that are out there. It’s really important!
Homework:
This morning was kind of a weird morning. It started out with a test in the library, and then moved to about 50 minutes of classtime (Chapter 9, WINS) around 9 o’clock. I then had to go to a meeting which lasted promptly until the next class’s start time. Ugh.

We finished the book in today’s class too. Next week, we’ll have a test over everything (we’ll review first), and then we’ll talk about (and possibly start) our computer repair component.

Today we had a test over chapters 1-5. Overall, the grades were great! Remember, next week is Halloween, and we are not having class! I’ll see you guys again on the following Tuesday, November 7.

In the A+ class, we covered Chapter 6, which was everything you wanted to know (and more) about Printers!

Chapters 6 and 7 were the topics at hand today, dealing with Sites and with Users and Groups. We had quite a bit of hands on today, and hopefully you enjoyed it. Look for a test in a couple of weeks (and look for lotsa hands-on on that test!)

I had to be out for a large part of today’s class, so I had you guys install Windows 2000 on the class’s VMWare programs. We’ll play with those starting next week.
