Yo homies, today we celebrated the last day of school by eating some of Kim’s totally AWESOME shrimp gumbo and watching Napoleon Dynamite. We then fixed Matthew’s step-mother’s computer for her.
Guys, this has been a GREAT class and I’ve really enjoyed hanging out with you this semester. See you in September!
Homework:
Today was a slightly weird Pro/Server day in that in the morning, I covered the last two chaptesr in the book – Chapters 13 and 14, and then in the afternoon we had the FINAL. It felt weird, since I’ve never lectured on the last day of class (much less the second-to-last day of class), but yeah, we made it.
Enjoy your break, and I’ll see ya’s guys next semester, eh?
Tonight, we did Transcenders. And then more. You guys rock, seriously.
Homework:
Today we finished up the class (sniff, sniff) by taking our last test and by doing our “Personal Sales Workshop”. Great job on both guys, and see! I do bring doughnuts!
If I need to see you next week for the final, (e-mail me if you’re not sure) the best advice I can offer you is to study your past tests.
Homework:
Today we kept on pace by fixing computers. Next week, we NEED to finish the computer that we’re putting the DVD drive into. Also, make sure you bring your designated meal thing (I’ve got the crackers!) and we’ll watch Napoleon Dynamite (yesssssssssss).
Homework:
Today we covered Chapters 11 and 12, which dealt with Configuring Win2K Network Connections and User security, policies and profiles, respectfully.
Homework:
EDIT: Thanks to Brian White for bringing to my attention that blog postings weren’t appearing!
Today we covered Chapter 16, the chapter on Personal Selling. We talked about the different challenges that a sales manager faces in dealing with such topics as motivation, compensation and logistics when working with his/her sales team. In addition, we also talked about the seven steps of the sales process. Make sure you know this!!! You will definitely see it again, at least twice!
Also, next week, we will have what for some of you will be the last test, over chapters 6, 7, 8 and 16. After that, we will be putting into practice what we learned in chapter 16 and completing the long-awaited Personal Sales Workshop. It should be lots of fun!
Homework:
Today we had our second “open” day and fixed (or at least tried to fix) two computers. One had a pretty much FRIED processor, and the other Win9x machine just had a bunch of spyware. Great job today, guys!
Homework:
Today’s class covered Chapters 9 & 10.
