It was movie night tonight in Marketing class, and the featured presentation was Tommy Boy. We watched this American classic from the standpoint of how Tommy handled personal sales and how he grew his talents. For next time complete the worksheet I handed out after the movie and turn it in next week. If you don’t have to come next week for the final, turn in the sheet to my mailbox.

Our class today was dedicated solely to practice exams. The first half of the class dealt with the admittedly ridiculous Trandumper questions and then we shifted gears to the actual Transcender questions (thanks Kim!). Marketing class today was devoted to Chapter Sixteen – the chapter on Sales. We talked about various aspects of the selling process ranging from promotions to personal selling. Remember, next week, we’re going to have a Personal Sales workshop, so make sure you know the seven steps of the sales process.
